Consignment
Because beautiful things deserve to be loved again. Reloved is our consignment programme — a way for the pieces your children have outgrown to find a second family, and for you to earn credit towards the next size up.
How it works
Email reloved@hatchedbaby.ca with a description of your pieces — article type, size, brand — and photos if you have them.
We reply and book you a time to bring them in. We are not able to accommodate walk-ins, so please wait to hear from us.
Once a piece sells you receive 60% of the sale in store credit, added to your Hatched account within 48 hours.
What we take
Pieces
- Clothing, newborn to size 8
- Footwear and outerwear
- Accessories — hats, bonnets, blankets
- Select toys and books
- Stuffed animals, clean and well kept
Condition
Freshly laundered, with no rips, heavy wear or stains. If you would not happily hand it to a friend, we cannot sell it.
Brands
The same thoughtfully made labels you find on our shelves. Our Brands We Accept list is a good guide, though it is not exhaustive — if you are unsure, just ask.
We are selective, and we say no more often than people expect. Not to be difficult, but because everything on the Reloved rail sits alongside our new stock and has to hold its own there.
Your credit
60% of the selling price, as store credit, added to your Hatched account within 48 hours of the sale. Spend it in the shop or online, on anything we carry — new or Reloved.
We will let you know which of your pieces have sold and what your credit comes to. Everything is listed on this site under Reloved, so you can see it live.
After eight weeks
We keep pieces for eight weeks. After that you are welcome to collect anything that has not sold, or ask us to donate it thoughtfully on your behalf — whichever you prefer. Let us know which when you drop off.
